Day One
Friday evening. Depart London Heathrow.
Day Two
Arrive Dar es Salaam. Depart by private charter to Vamizi. You will arrive in time for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.
Vamizi Island Lodge consists of 10 separate secluded beach houses, each with a king size four poster bed and view out to sea from the shades of the forest. Samango monkeys play in the trees and prowl the land, hunting the crabs that live there.
The private verandas lead off from the bedrooms, with deep cane sofas and colonial-style chairs. All furniture in the bedrooms, the dining room, and central sitting area have been designed and mostly custom-made, to incorporate traditional carvings reflecting the Arabic influence in the area. The outside decks and private beaches have a selection of sun loungers, swinging beds and local 'Swahili day beds' to chose from.
There is plenty of time to explore the island and try a variety of waterborne sports including world-class blue water fishing, fly fishing, snorkeling and deep sea scuba diving. Vamizi prides itself on its isolation from the modern world allowing you to truly immerse yourself in this unique tranquil sanctuary.

Day Seven
It is time to pack and depart after a late lunch for your charter flight back to Dar es Salaam and your onward connection to London via Nairobi

Arrive London Heathrow early Saturday morning
