Day One
Friday evening. Depart London Heathrow.
Day Two
Arrive Lusaka airport. You will be met and taken to your scheduled charter flight to Royal where you will be met and transferred to Chiawa Camp by road / boat transfer.
Arrive at Chiawa Camp in time for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation in preparation for your late afternoon game drive. Chiawa provides a variety of activities including a trip by boat and land vehicle to Old Mondoro area with game viewing and drinks on an island en-route. Resting peacefully on the banks of the Zambezi River, under a grove of evergreen Mahogany trees, Chiawa Camp holds the prime position in the heart of Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park.
It is at this very spot, where David Livingstone ventured through nearly 150 years previously, where the Cumings Family in 1989 created the very first photo safari operation in the Lower Zambezi National Park and what has since become one of Africa’s most desirable, sought after safari destinations.
Constructed mainly of natural materials the camp blends in effortlessly with its idyllic surroundings and it is here where guests receive the very best Africa has to offer. A stunning thatched lounge/bar area with upstairs viewing deck provides one of the best views of the Zambezi.

Day Five
Depart Chiwa after an early morning game drive and bush breakfast to the Royal airstrip for your charter flight to Mfuwe. On arrival at Mfuwe you will be met and transferred by road to Tena Tena.in time for lunch and an afternoon to relax before your early evening game drive.
This remote and small camp lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River. A grove of mahogany trees shade the large custom-made tents. From the thatched dining room and bar, guests can watch the elephants, hippo and antelope on the river banks. Near by there is a spectacular lagoon, Buca Buca, where a whole morning can be spent quietly sitting while the game comes down to feed and drink.
3 nights Tena Tena Camp including all activities
Day Eight
Depart Tena Tena for Mfuwe airstrip by road. Depart by scheduled charter from Mfuwe to Lusaka airport. From here you will catch your flight back to London.
Day Nine
Early Saturday morning arrive London Heathrow.
Cost from £2650 based on 2 people sharing to include all economy and scheduled charter flights, accommodation as described, meet and greet on arrival and transfers and any ammendments to this itinerary.
