Day One

Friday evening.  Depart London Heathrow.

Day Two

Arrive at Maun  via Johannesburg where you will be transferred to your private charter and taken to Khwai River Lodge.

Overlooking the vast Khwai River floodplains and beyond into the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, sits the luxurious Khwai River Lodge.  Khwai is renowned for its large concentrations of mammals and it is not unusual to see many different types of wildlife from the comfort of your own private deck.  As a year round destination for wildlife, predators can regularly be seen in the area, rated as one of the most prolific in Botswana.

Day Five

You will be taken by private charter to Eagle Island Camp.

Eagle Island Camp is hidden from the world, deep within Botswana’s Okavango Delta.  Situated on the island of Xaxaba, the camp overlooks a surrounding lagoon, palm-treed islands and vast flood plains.  The camp offers a cool retreat from the African sun and is shaded by a canopy of indigenous trees.

During the months of April through to October the camp offers a choice of game viewing by mokoro (traditional dug out canoe) or motorized boat.  When water levels are low (December to March), morning, afternoon and evening game drives are offered.  For the more intrepid, safari walks can be done throughout the year.

Also offered at Eagle Island are spectacular game-viewing flights over Botswana by helicopter and ‘Naturally Wild’ spa treatments are available in the privacy of your own tent.

Day Eight

You will take your private charter from Eagle Island to Maun where you will then catch your flight back to London via Johannesburg

Day Nine

Arrive London Heathrow early Saturday morning

Cost from £2350 per person based on 2 people sharing to include all economy and charter flights, accommodation as described, meet and greet on arrival and transfers and any ammendments to this itinerary.
