This city is brimming with Latin American character and some things that are uniquely Argentinean. In the afternoon take a walk through eh fashionable Palermo district and pretend you’re a stylish local, even if it’s just for a day. Relax at your hotel before dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in the city – be sure to sample the revered local beef. Algodon Mansion is your perfect home in the city.

After breakfast put on your walking shoes for a day or half day tour of the city. Plaza de Mayo and the grand Cathedral Metropolitan are definite must see’s. Next, stroll around the old quarters of San Telmo and immerse yourself in the vibrant and arty La Boca district. Visit to Recoleta Cemetery, where the elite of Buenos Aires have been laid to rest including Eva Peron. Then prepare for a fun evening: dinner and a colorful and passionate tango show. The following day have at your leisure to explore the hidden gems and some shopping if you so please.

Today you will be transferred to the airport and fly to the famous home of the Malbec Grape. Over the next few days explore the region at leisure - enjoy some fantastic ‘new world’ wines, try your hand at a cooking lesson and just relax and kick back in the sublime atmosphere.

Today you will be escorted to the airport and you will fly to Puerto Iguazu. Here you'll enjoy a full day visit to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls National Park. The park covers some 50,000 hectares of lush forest. Depending on the season, the sheer scale and force of the water is almost too much to behold and it feels like your eyes are deceiving you. It’s not just about the mammoth waterfalls though, birds to butterflies’ sparkle in the air above as you walk along the many footbridges. You can get as wet as you wish to – raincoats always advised! Visit Devils Gorge and a walk the upper trail with its magnificent views of the Upper Iguazu River. The lower trail gives you a view from the base looking up, as the name suggests.

Today enjoy your last breakfast in a special place – sadly the time has come to say hasta luego to Argentina. A short flight from Puerto Iguazu to Buenos Aires first where you’ll connect with your flight back to the UK.

Continue the wine theme and cross the border into colourful Chile. From Mendoza you’ll embark on a thrilling full day road transfer over the Andes, past South Americas highest peak – Aconcagua. Arrive in Santiago – Chile’s capital. And a short way away seeing many olive groves and orchards along the way is the historic seaside town of Valparaiso.
