South Africa
The world in one country
This country has it all – from the Southern tip where two oceans meet to the far Northern reaches of bushveld bordering Mozambique and Zimbabwe, this is the rainbow nation and the heartbeat of the African continent.
Over 2500kms of spectacular coastline of the Indian and Atlantic oceans makes for amazing coastal views and never-ending beaches. The interior flows over massive terrain from lush grass covered ‘Highveld’, the unique fynbos of the Cape to ancient mountain ranges and 'bushveld' which includes the iconic Kruger National Park - home of the Big 5 and myriad smaller species of animals and birds.
A turbulent and recent publicised history makes for an eclectic mix of cultures and ethnic groups. From the business hub of Johannesburg with bustling highways to the leafy, scenic mother city of Cape Town and all everything in between - there is never a dull moment in this very civilized yet adventurous land. It is impossible to describe the magic of South Africa in one small section, it is a destination for everyone. Romantic and bold, diverse and intimate at the same time... it is above all - inspirational.
