Southern Africa has unbound riches and treasures to be discovered. Prolific wildlife to inspiring scenery from the Southern tip where two dramatic oceans meet onto the great Kalahari desert... through to the Rift Valley up to the azure waters of the coast of Mozambique. This region of Africa includes 10 countries and spans an area bigger than China. From the equator all the way down to the Cape the area includes deserts, forests, savannah, mountains, lakes, winding rivers and wild coastline.

The geography is as diverse and awe-inspiring as the people, animals and plants that inhabit it. Each country has its own unique identity and culture. Indigenous tribes include the Himba people in Northern Namibia, the friendly Portuguese speaking Mozambicans, multi-cultural and bilingual South Africans and Basotho people across Botswana and Zimbabwe. Many of the mammals cross borders freely, driven by millennia of instinct in the endless circle of life. Big game such as elephant, buffalo and lion has roamed these plains long before people arrived here to glimpse the spectacle that is a truly African safari.

People have been travelling to Southern Africa for centuries to experience a small part of the ultimate adventure. From adrenalin activities in Victoria Falls to city slicking in Cape Town... traditional mokoro trips in the Okavango Delta, fresh-water dives in Lake Malawi or star gazing in Namibia. It is a destination that has something for everyone – young and old alike.
